Live trading deposit
Hi guys, Im looking to get started with Live trading... Is there a certain amount of deposit you can recommend i should start with for some decent trading action? (i was originally thinking of £1000 gbp a micro lot) but then i realized the smallest amount you could trade on a demo was a micro-lot.
Keeping to the 2% rule of thumb i was wondering were there any recommendations out there so i could start preparing a reasonable amount of deposit
thanks!
If you have $1000 extra then you can deposit that much otherwise around $100 to $200 is most common "first deposit" amount. Deposit doesnt really matter as long as you r properly managing ur risk per trade.

Depends if you're depositing to trade for real or to simply testingthe waters, i think the question you're looking for is whether there is a broker someone can recommend for a rookie trader whether its by reputation of personal experience.
Although £1000 sounds great, so long as its not going to hurt your bank account too much
Don't consider it as profitable since its your initial deposit, from another thread someone said "Consider it as a learning fee" so unless you can comfortably afford it consider the deposit with the intent to lose it

Decent? its a bloody damn good start! most traders would begin with a $100-200 deposit, with 10x that amount you must be a very confident cheesy trader. Especially since you've only been trading for 2 months on demo according to your widget, what strategy do you use?
We have to be extremely wise with making deposit in any broker as we should never take risk about it. I know this very well because I have suffered with companies like Instaforex and others, so we got to be very careful about all this to be able to benefit.
