Some Explain Basic EA parameters
I am having difficulty in setting parameters of EAs that I download. Can someone explain basic parameters when setting up an EA. You can take example of any EA that you have an explain accordingly.

Each EA has its own parameters. You can search on youtube for paremeter settings. But I think it will not help you unless you find paremeter settings for ur EA. Usually u get a pdf or txt file in which everything about setting up EA is written.

Actually I do not have any pdf with it. I am trying to search parameter help on youtube but cant find. I think I will have to archive this EA.

Usually parameters r written in short forms. As others said that their always a pdf or text help file with EA. This is written by developer and everything is explained in it. If u dont have helpfile u cannot successfully setup EA.

Why dont u test ur EAs with default settings if u dont have helpfile. EAs r usually optimized with default settings. If it doesnt work then u can search EA name over google to find its help files.

I think each EA needs to be optimized after testing it with ur broker, especially scalping EAs.
